1- In a mixing bowl, gently combine warm water, sugar, and yeast, ensuring they are well incorporated. Allow the mixture to rest for 5 minutes, allowing the yeast to activate and create a frothy layer on the surface.
2- Add wheat flour, salt, and olive oil to the bowl. Mix all the ingredients together until they come together to form a rough dough consistency.
3- Transfer the dough to a floured surface and knead it for about 5-7 minutes until it becomes soft and elastic.
